About Truth Matters Today

Hi, friend. We're Sean and Shalon — a husband-and-wife team from Arlington, Texas, and the people behind Truth Matters Today.

Our store is named for a command. Paul told the Thessalonians to prove all things — to test what they were taught — and to hold fast that which is good. That's the whole vision in one verse. We're not asking anyone to trust us. We're asking everyone to test everything against Scripture, and to hold tightly to what proves true. That's why this store exists. Truth matters today, tomorrow, and forever.

How We Got Here

Shalon spent over a decade as a teacher — pouring out knowledge, building relationships with students, listening to hardships, celebrating joys, and overhearing the kind of conversations that quietly reveal what people are really searching for. The pattern she kept noticing was this: people are longing for deeper connection, for conversations that actually matter. They want truth. They don't always know how to ask for it.

That ache became a mission. Night after night at our kitchen table, we asked one question: what if the clothes someone wears and the resources they study could become bridges to the conversations that matter most?

That question built Truth Matters Today.
