Collection: Bible Study Guides

"Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth."
— 2 Timothy 2:15 (KJV)

Bible Study Guides

Most Bible study books tell you what the author thinks. Our guides remove the middleman.

Every guide in this collection is built the same way: only Scripture, organized under topical headings, so the Word teaches itself. No commentary. No human conclusions added. Just the verses, gathered and rightly divided — so you can read God's Word and see what it says for yourself.

How These Guides Work

Each study covers one topic and contains only two things: clear topical headings and the supporting KJV verses under each. You read the headings to know where to look. You read the verses to know what God says. That's the entire system.

It's also the system Paul commanded in 2 Timothy 2:15 — to be a workman who rightly divides the Word of truth. These guides do that work for you on specific topics, gathered into compact references you can read in one sitting, return to for years, and pull out the moment a conversation calls for it.

Three Formats — Pick What Fits How You Read

Every study guide is available in three formats so you can choose what works for your life:

  • Ebook ($5) — Instant PDF download delivered to your inbox after checkout. Searchable, always on your phone, ready in seconds.
  • Print Pocket Reference ($10) — A slim 5×7 physical booklet sized to slip inside your Bible, your purse, or a jacket pocket. Ready in any conversation — no screen required.
  • Ebook + Print Bundle ($12) — Get both formats together and save $3. The PDF for your phone, the print for your Bible. Covered everywhere the topic comes up.

What's in the Collection

Three topical studies are currently available, each in all three formats:

  • Understanding Baptism — A scripture-only study tracing baptism across Scripture. Water baptism in time past, Spirit baptism in the present (the believer baptized into Christ's body by one Spirit), and how Christ fulfilled all righteousness on our behalf. Built from the actual verses, rightly divided.
  • God's Will: Knowledge (Part One) — The first part of God's will for us: coming to the knowledge of the truth. Covers being saved, renewing the mind, growing in knowledge through study and work, and guarding against deception.
  • God's Will: How to Walk (Part Two) — The second part: walking out God's will day to day. Covers serving God, giving thanks, prayer, putting on God's armor, edifying others, walking in love, and preserving the body as His temple.

Who These Guides Are For

  • Believers who want to study Scripture for themselves rather than read someone else's conclusions about it
  • New Christians building a foundation in the Word
  • Longtime believers wanting topical references ready for conversations and discipleship
  • Bible study groups looking for verse-anchored study material
  • KJV-faithful readers seeking translation-consistent study tools
  • Anyone who's been frustrated by commentary-heavy Bible studies that bury the verses under opinion

The KJV Standard

Every verse in every guide comes from the King James Version. No paraphrases, no translation-swapping for convenience. Consistent with the rest of the Truth Matters Today library.
